JOB TITLE : Digital Project Manager - IT
DEPARTMENT/PROJECT : IT
RESPONSIBLE TO : Senior IT Manager


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

   IT Project Manager will be responsible for providing project planning and management for established initiatives with respect to digitalization projects within the company. He will ensure that projects are completed to specification, within an established period and budget. IT Project Manager will be the lead subject matter expert within the company regarding technology concerns. Additionally, he will often work with multiple teams and departments, and need to be able to communicate and take ownership of the assigned projects within allocated resources. Will use his industry expertise to improve all aspects of project planning and resource management.



CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:



• Assisting in establishing a Project Management culture to oversee multiple projects.

• Taking high level MOMs of every meet up among Genetco IT, management and other stakeholders.

• Generating actionable plans (with the help of Process flowcharts Data flowcharts / BPM diagrams).

• Liaising with stakeholders such as project personnel, division or department head regarding project requirements.

• Outlining, defining, and initiating the project.

• Implementing document control policies and documentation templates.

• Evaluating standards of required processes.

• Monitoring project progress and implementing changes where ever necessary.

• Monitoring expenditures in accordance with the budget.

• Ensuring compliance with objectives, organizational policies, procedures, and standards.

• Compiling project reports and informing management regarding problems.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:



• Setting project goals and coming up with plans to meet these goals.

• Generating Process and Data Flowcharts of the projects plans.

• Develops, maintains, and revises proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing.

• Sets and tracks project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed.

• Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders

• Maintaining project periods, budgeting estimates and status reports.

• Managing resources for projects, such as computer equipment and employees.

• Coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities.

• Implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

• Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence.

• Conducting risk assessment for projects.

• Organizing meetings to discuss project goals and progress.


IT PROJET MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS



• Must possess the Bachelors or Master’s degree in IT Management, Computer Sciences or Software Engineering.

• Exposure to corporates with digital transformation culture.

• Must have complete knowledge of Projects Management tools like MS Project, Zoho Projects etc.

• Must have working knowledge of modeling tools like Visio, Erwin, Power Designer, yEdit etc.

• Must have knowledge of designing and implementing work flows.

• Must have working knowledge of Data Flow within processes.

• Can handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Can handle deadlines efficiently.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a project management role with IT & Software related tasks.

• Good understanding of end to end IT systems and processes.

• Deep understanding of software development life cycle.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.


SKILLS as Plus Points:



• PMP or PRINCE2 or AGILE Certified.

• Had already rolled out multiple IT projects within deadlines.

• Outstanding leadership, organizational and time management skills.
