About Genetco
Genetco (General Electric and Trading Company) is a 100% Omani company, established in Muscat in 1971 as a partnership between Mr. Murtadha Hassan Ali and W. J. Towell and Co. LLC.
In more than five decades we have become one of the largest and most diversified companies in the Sultanate, with a leading position in electronics and home appliances, Canon office automation and consumer products, air conditioning, commercial kitchens and refrigeration, and facility management and engineering services.
We are customer focused and service oriented. Our own technicians install and maintain what we sell, from service centers in seven cities, and every order, installation and repair follows one documented process.
Our Quality Management System is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 by TUV SUD Management Service GmbH. We keep investing in our people, our training centre, our systems and our infrastructure so that the quality of our work keeps improving.
