This was the famous production of Luchino Visconti, the first of 5 opera productions he would do with Callas. Callas is discussing with 3 conductors: Arturo Toscanini on the left, Victor de Sabata, standing and facing front, and conductor of this production Antonino Votto, seen from behind.
