Qualifications
• Master's degree in
Business administration and
15+ years of experience in
Product Management of Air conditioners-residential preferably with experience in the GCC.
• Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
• Interface with Principals:
Negotiating with the principals the annual sales targets, in consultation with DGM in line with the internal budgets. Interaction with the principals for prices, availability and shipment of products. Ensuring a proper product mix to get the targeted Gross Profits. • Achievement of Brand Targets:
Responsible for achieving the KPIs for the brands allotted. Ensure both the targets with the Principals and the internal targets are achieved.
• Product Forecast And Procurement:
Responsible for preparing product forecasts, and constantly monitoring inventory levels held at warehouses to ensure supply timelines. Maintaining and updating the PSI on continuous basis reflecting the market dynamics. Timely Submission of the procurement plan and ensuring uninterrupted supply of all products.
• SKU Management:
: Monitor each SKU on a regular basis and ensure that action is initiated to promote sale of slow moving stocks and liquidation of obsolete stocks.
• Trade Schemes:
Along with DGM/GM responsible for formulation, Implementation & assessment of consumer promotions & trade schemes. Review the effectiveness all trade schemes, make changes and propose corrective measures if necessary.
• Sales Support:
Support the sales team constantly by following up on the achievements. Provide support to the sales team by joint visits to customers and problem solving.
• Marketing Support:
Support DGM/GM in designing of advertisements in coordination with Principals for marketing inputs and implementing the marketing plan for the brand under his portfolio. Also ensuring proper merchandising at the sales outlets by ensuring proper product displays, correct pricing and highlighting promotions.
• Product Information:
Responsible for providing the sales team with the necessary technical expertise to enable them to sell the product. This involves printed and electronic promotional material and regular product training.
• Data Analysis:
Responsible for collating and analyzing historical sales data both channel wise and account wise of the various products. Responsible for reviewing product data to ensure that the sales team is kept up to date on new developments regarding the companies or competitor’s products. Obtaining inputs / data from various sources (Dealers / Institutional customers) and compiling them for building the forecast.
• Market Feedback:
Close liaison with the sales team / channel to assess the response to new product launches and monitor the competition activities on a regular basis in order to make tactical course corrections.
• Product Performance:
Interface with the after sales service department to understand product performance and quality issues, escalate the same to relevant authorities for solutions.
• Claims Submissions:
Timely submissions of the various claims like product or marketing support or any other claim and ensure receipt of the same from the principals.
